When you purchase a hot tub from Bauqua, everything you need to start using it immediately is included. Each tub comes equipped with a fast-heating integrated wood-fired stove, an insulated cover, a comfortable set of steps, a convenient side table, a protective flue cover, a refined rain cap, ambient underwater lighting a relaxing air bubble massage and a hydromassage systems. All components are thoughtfully chosen to deliver a complete and enjoyable bathing experience.

For added versatility, our popular Antifrost & Filtration system option is available. This upgrade includes a water treatment system, an electric heater, and a sleek storage box positioned beside the hot tub. The system helps keep the water cleaner for longer, allows electric heating, and ensures the tub remains frost-free during colder winter conditions.

Yes, absolutely! The Bauqua Tubs are designed for year-round use. With the hybrid function, you can keep the water frost-free during winter by using the electric heater in combination with the water treatment system.

If you choose the hybrid function with a water treatment system and follow our simple care guidelines, the same water can be used for up to two months. To maintain the best water quality, everyone should shower before bathing, and chlorine or active oxygen should be added regularly.

If the hot tub is used without a water treatment system, we recommend changing the water after every use or at least every 1–3 days to maintain hygiene, as well as to protect the product’s quality and long-term durability

Heating time varies depending on the outdoor conditions and the initial temperature of the water. When using the hybrid heating system, the water can be heated from approximately 5 °C to 39 °C in about 2 hours for the 2m. Tub and around 3 hours for the 2,25m.

If the hot tub is heated without the hybrid system, the heating time is typically about one hour longer.

Yes, water treatment products can be used when necessary to maintain clean and hygienic water.

We recommend using active oxygen or chlorine-based treatments, dosed appropriately for approximately 500 liters of water, rather than the full tub capacity. This ensures effective sanitation while avoiding excessive chemical concentration.

Always:

  • Follow the manufacturer’s dosage instructions

  • Avoid overdosing

  • Test water levels regularly

  • Rinse the tub periodically with fresh water

Excessive chemical use may damage components and is not covered under warranty.

If you are unsure about water treatment, our support team will be happy to advise.

There are several suitable ways to install a hot tub, with wooden decking and stone slabs being the most common options. A simple and sturdy foundation can be made by first laying a compacted gravel base, followed by stone slabs to create an even and level surface.

Most importantly, the chosen location must be stable, level, and capable of supporting the combined weight of the hot tub, the water, and its users. If you are unsure about the surface or placement, please feel free to contact us we are always happy to assist and offer guidance.

We recommend rinsing the hot tub with clean water or using a mild cleaning agent each time it is emptied. This helps keep the tub fresh and ready for the next use.

To preserve the original luster of the wooden panels as they were at delivery, we recommend treating the wood with a standard wood oil when needed.

If your hot tub is equipped with the hybrid function, it is advisable to clean the filter balls in the water treatment system after every water change, or at least once every three months. The filter balls can easily be removed and cleaned in a washing machine.

All AMBER hot tubs are fully functional without electricity when using the integrated wood-fired stove. Heating, circulation through natural convection, and operation of the stove do not require power.

Electricity is only needed if you want to use systems such as:

  • Antifros & Filtration system

  • LED lighting

  • Hydromassage Function

  • Airbubble massage Function

This makes the tub reliable even in off-grid or rural locations.

We recommend a minimum of 50 cm clearance around the hot tub for safe access, ventilation, and maintenance.

Additional vertical clearance is required above the chimney to ensure proper airflow and safe operation.

The installation area should allow comfortable access to the stove door, chimney, and drainage outlet.

Yes, but only if the terrace is structurally engineered to support the total filled weight of the hot tub.

A filled AMBER hot tub may weigh approximately 1400 – 2000 kg, depending on the model, water volume and amount or people using it.

If installing on a wooden deck or terrace:

  • The structure must be reinforced

  • Load distribution must be properly calculated

  • The surface must be level and stable

If you are unsure, we strongly recommend consulting a builder or structural specialist before installation.
